We just discovered that we had an issue with our newsletters getting out to everyone.  Servers have a set "limit" of how many messages one can send out per hour to prevent spammers and abuses of server resources.  Ours was set very low.  We have corrected the problem, and starting with the next newsletter, everyone will receive it!  We apologize to those who were not getting all the updates.

This past week, we did some upgrades to the software we use to serve this web site.  There's one important feature you should be aware of, and then the rest is all technical, so let's get to the good parts!

NEW FEATURE: Quick Links!
---The new quicklinks feature allows you to send friends an easy-to-remember URL to your social network profile.  Whatever name you use to log into the website is the name on the quick link.  The format is "HTTP://GAYFLL.COM/YOURUSERNAME". An example is Dennis' profile at http://gayfll.com/chief , or Daddy M's profile is http://gayfll.com/daddym .  This feature just makes using a profile a lot more enjoyable.  If you need help with this, you can always contact Dennis!  And dont forget, there is a full explanation on how to use your profiles HERE !

Wow, we are just breaking all kinds of records this month.  This week, we've passed the 100,000 pageviews mark!  We can't thank you enough for helping GayFLL to grow.  We have so much coming ahead, we will strive to make this THE gay on-line spot for Broward County!  We already have HUGE plans for the 2009 season that will be gauranteed to be a big hit, and YOU will be part of it!

Fort Lauderdale's "season" is over, but we do have more things coming in the months ahead. Our next big video will be the Stonewall Street Festival on Wilton Drive on June 21-22. Dennis and Daddy M will be floating in the crowds with their cameras to catch the moments, and present them the following week the only way GayFLL Magazine can.

Though it is the off season, Dennis is VERY busy organizing some more local business and organization videos that we hope you will enjoy, as well as creating new features, and finally bringing interactivity to the website! He's also strategically doing other projects outside the magazine that will one day help GayFLL in the future.
