Established in 2005, The FTLMovieBears was the idea of Brian Gibson, of Wilton Manors, who had been a member of the Washington, DC, Bear movie group when he lived there. Brian is still the owner and a moderator of the Yahoo website. In March, 2006, when Brian started a new job, he asked John and Joe to take over as moderators, choose the films, send out the e-mails, etc. They have just completed two years as moderators.
