Wilton Manors favorite art gallery, Art Expressions, at 1438 NE 26th Street, Wilton Manors opens its new show "Aperture Eight" featuring the work of eight of Fort Lauderdale's leading photographers. The work varies from the sublime photographs of dawn and sunset taken by Paul Harris to the photos of Greg Lindeblom that cover locations in Europe as well as the US, to the experimental and abstract work of some of the other photographers taking part

Abiding Savior Church at 1900 SW 35th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale is delighted to announce a unique Concert Sunday worship experience and fellowship dinner feast to follow on Sunday, March 9th at 10:00 AM. The public is invited to join in both the Concert/Worship event and the dinner that follows. A free-will offering will be received. The Concert Sunday event features David Clyle Morse and Koko the gorilla direct from Mathewson United Methodist Church in Providence, Rhode Island in their only scheduled 2008 South Florida appearance for this year’s concert season. This is David’s second appearance in concert at Abiding Savior Church as part of the Huebner Concert Sunday series sponsored by Robert and Julie Huebner. His program last year was memorable and enthusiastically received by all in attendance.

ArtsUnited’s annual gay and lesbian arts festival ArtExplosion 2008 opens February 8 with an outdoor sing-along screening of “The Wizard of Oz”, and ends February 23 with a “Saturday Night Live inspired” night of sketch comedy by the Gay Mafia. Produced by the nonprofit organization ArtsUnited, ArtExplosion 2008 is two weeks of art, music, theater, literature, comedy and cabaret by local and national gay and lesbian talent, held at a wide variety of venues throughout Broward County, Florida.
