 ...this section to help us "Save A Buck", "Save Some Doe", just save money! Many in our community are in service jobs, which hurt the most in a bad economy. This is a way for our community to pull together, on a local scale, and share tips on where to get good deals, and ideas for entertainment in the gay community. Lunch Noon-7PM: With an inexpensive menu to begin with, there is a weekly special that "usually" consists of a HUGE 1/3 lb. burger and fries for around $7. (Price fluctuates depending on special's variation!) During this time, it is also Happy Hour, so the reasonably priced drinks are buy-one, get-one free. Don't let the dark atmosphere fool you, the burgers are FRESH, and the best of any other bar in town! GayFLL's Dennis is your NEW cook/server on Tuesdays! Coffee and Hangin' Out: Both locations (Wilton Manors and Las Olas) offer a small bottomless cup of coffee (self serve of 8 varieties) for around $1.60. If you're not in the mood for the bars, this is the most inexpensive place for a cup of joe, and a decent place to hang out with friends. (Los Olas location is on the water!) |

Dancing/Lessons/Inexpensive: Learn how to line dance, two step, shadow and waltz, FOR FREE! Lessons have become quite popular, and the drinks are inexpensive. Line dance lessons are on Mondays and Tuedays, Two step, shadow and waltz are on Thursdays, all days 7-9PM. Lessons are provided by The Outlawz. |

Entertainment: Tony and Gloria are a FABULOUS jazz duo (to which, we are big fans!) that play the piano bar circuit. Most of their venues have specials while they are performing. Examples: Tropics Thursdays 7-10PM (Happy hour is until 9PM!) Dudes Piano bar Fridays from 6-9PM (Happy hour is until 9PM!) Jeff's Beach House "Drink Pink" Mondays @ 6PM with lots of dinner and drink specials! These venues are always hopping when they play, lots of fun with friends! (Note:Dudes will be closed for remodeling from May 19th, and reopen on May 23rd!) |
