Here are answers to general questions about this site. It goes through a wide range of topics, so your answers will probably be here.

I am having problems viewing videos. HELP!

• We currently use Windows Media for our videos because of the quality and size of videos. You can obtain Windows media player by clicking here. We have tested with Windows XP, Vista, Internet Explorer, AOL, Mac OSX, and Firefox. If your software is installed properly, you should have no problems. If you do, you may want to join the site and download the videos manually, so you can play them from your computer. This is also recommended for Dial-up users.

Who can have a video on this site?

• Any gay owned or community-friendly business in Broward county. We only cover brick-n-mortar business and tangible services. Bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels, masseurs, cleaners, entertainers, just about anything. Sorry, we don't do web sites.

Can I have x-rated material in my video?

• No. We go up to "Rated R", but we're not a porn site. There's plenty of that on the net already.

Can I provide my own video?

• Only in non-profit instances will we consider using your video, as we post and produce non-profit organizations as a donation to the community. Even with provided video from non-profits, we still re-edit to fit our format.
• Businesses cannot provide their own video.

Can I provide pictures to be included in my video?

• Yes.

I have a small website for my business. Can I advertise or link to that site?

• We will only link or advertise your site if you OWN and OPERATE it yourself.

What equipment does GayFLL Magazine use in producing videos?

• Videos are recorded using a Sony MiniDV camera. For internet video, it's actually overkill, but the results are great. And for those wanting high-end copies, it is broadcast quality.

How can I get an event listed in the Events Calendar?

• Non-Profits can have special events listed in the calendar section (not the front page, unless it's a major community event). Just click here and use the form to submit all important information.
• For Bars and Clubs, we generally list your "hottest night" of the week on a regular basis. If you don't see your place listed, then by all means, please submit it. If you're having a special event, click here and submit all information to include in the listing.

Are you hiring?

• We do not actively seek employees at this time.

Will GayFLL Magazine have Profiles?

• We may in the future have very minimal profiles for those that want to interact with the site, but our current priority is to get as much video as possible.

Does GayFLL Magazine publish an email newsletter?

• Yes. The newsletter announces new videos on a regular basis, as well as web site happenings. We are not an "email blast" type of newsletter. You can join by creating an account here! The email address you provide will send an account confirmation that you must reply to for activation. (Check your spam folder if you don't receive it within minutes.)
